Description

The listing, 2 HUGE coins has ended.

2 very large coins, larger than US silver dollar coins.

I drive about 70 miles once a month to an auction house. Over the years of buying collectibles, I sometimes get items included in lots that had something I really wanted. I have here two huge coins that were in one of those lots.

I bid on a lot of Silver American Eagles, but when I actually opened the box, there were about 15 coins which weren't eagles, including these two. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

The first one actually looks like its made of silver, it has that classic coin silver look but not sure.

On the front it has some kind of native headdress and has the year 1947. It says Cinco Pesos which I know means 5 pesos.

On the back it has what I think is the Mexico seal. Its BIG, bigger than a silver dollar. Its in a coin holder that has the number 215 on it. not sure if that means anything.

The second coin is also big but just a hair smaller. I believe its from England since it has Churchhill on one side and Queen Elizabeth II on the other side. The year 1965 is clearly visible but I see no denomination anywhere so I have no idea what its original value was.

It doesn't have that coin silver look like the first coin, its almost a satin grey color.

Anyway, hopefully one of you knows these coins and places a bid. I'm starting it off at 100 with free shipping

Huh, you learn something new every day. I collect lots of coins but have almost no knowledge of English coins. I'm not even sure what the US equivalents are for a Crown or a Shilling. I think a pence is like a penny and a Pound is similar to our dollar but that's the limit of my knowledge English coins.

You mean if I have any Macs for sale, I have a couple older Macs but they're not for sale. You can find them all over for cheap though. The anniversary Macs, NEXT computers can still be found at affordable prices, like on eBay, Craigslist and the local papers. Try those.

No, I used to have a room full of computers, but now just have an old Mac Classic, eMac, iMac and Mac Cube. Plus my regular use computers.
