Headpins with balls are great for making earrings and pendants, see my photos for many examples of how to use them. With the little ball on the end, you don't need to add your own "end bead" to prevent the larger beads from falling off. I counted out 40 then added a few more ... some of these are bent but you can still use them (I do). And, I will not send you any badly bent headpins.
