*This auction is for over 25+ seeds of Crepe Myrtle (Lagerstroemia), which is an evergreen tree or shrub native to India, Asia, Australia and warmer parts of the world.
*Crape myrtles are chiefly known for their colorful and long-lasting flowers which occur in summer months.
Most species of Lagerstroemia have sinewy, fluted stems and branches with a mottled appearance that arises from having bark that sheds throughout the year.
*All species are woody in nature most are small to medium multiple-trunked trees and shrubs (the tree/shrub these were collected off is bushy and probably full grown standing at approx. 5 feet tall with a 4 - 5 foot circumference.
*They make beautiful borders on the edges of privacy fences, or as a single ornamental tree.
*The leaves of temperate species provide autumn color.
