never seen it ... looked kinda awful, though I do love Ewan's acting in most films (Big Fish ... wife & my favorite movie out of romantic comedies & sci-fi mixed)

this movie was made right after ewan had done moulin rouge and renee had done chicago.. so there is a big musical quality to this. over the top. that’s how I would describe it. from the acting to the costume design to the setting and the music, the whole entire thing is kitschy and corny.. but i LIKE movies like that. it's a zany comedy very reminiscent of 1960s romantic comedies like pillow talk w/ doris day and rock hudson, etc.. anywasy, glad tos ee this up for auction! my copy was lost a few years ago when a friend borrowed it and i never got it back

just watched the trailer. Indeed, not too shabby. not much into musicals but those that I DO like ... I am VERY specific. "Chaicago" was okay.

The musical numbers in BIG FISH (Ewan ironically) were fantastic.
