The listing, ☆~GORGEOUS LITTLE DETAILED TREASURE BOX~☆☆NEW!! has ended.

Super detailed stainless steel jewelry/ keepsake box. velvet lining, has a good weight to it. hand crafted over seas. brand new in the box!! fabulous!
just a gorgeous little item to have. im going to say its about 3 or 4" l x 2 "w.

absolutely no refunds or returns under any circumstances, not for color, smell, taste, feel, fit, size, nada. if you dont like it please relist it we all do! i ship using all 7 days with tracking always sometimes a couple more due to my work schedule. verified address only. please no negative, revenge, pointless, careless feedback.

i have noticed that there really arent alot of people on listia anymore. there used to be so many pages i could spend all day here. now hardly anything left to buy. i think the credit cost ratio drove everyone out. the over charging did too. you got a 100 purse going for 500 dollars in credits. anyhow. thoughts?

people want a steal to buy and a huge deal to list.... can't have both. :-) The credit ratio to $ makes it hard to determine price. I started this as a fun way to get rid of excess and find shipping costs kill me so I'm getting less but still having some fun.

Very cute little box! Not sure why but I have a "thing" for little boxes like this, lol. Will definitely be watching!

As for your question: The site has strayed so far away from its original premise of getting rid of stuff you no longer need & requiring that sellers had to have their items "in hand"! It has become a cesspool for drop shippers & third party sellers. Goodness only knows who they are sharing buyer's information with! Then there's the excessive shipping charges & most of those members never reciprocate by buying from anyone else!

Many of the policies are not enforced so what good are they? There are thousands of prohibited items that are not being deleted. Some members are raking in thousands of dollars by charging in excess of the maximum allowed to charge for shipping of jewelry, books & DVDs, in particular. Then there's the issue with minors & fake listings that they can't seem to control.

Reached the max. length of message...continued below...

I agree ladies, I don't mind paying for a detailed beauty like this but to charge $5 for a penny worth a penny, they should be ashamed.

Part 2:

The digital codes folks are really raking it in, (basically for something they received free with something else). Personally, I think that any credits won with digital delivery items should only be able to be used on other digital delivery items. It's rather like the old saying that people don't really appreciate what they don't work for. They are banking so many "easy" credits that they'll spend whatever they want if they see something that they like which is also driving the prices up. Gluttony has created insane prices of gift cards & Forever stamps & has really tainted the fun nature in my opinion! I think that the credit rate should have been capped at least 6 months before it was. When the site opted to allow members to sell their own credits everything went crazy! I wish that only Listia could sell gift cards in their Rewards Store....that would be a big step in curbing the inflation (which was more than 400% last year!). Members continue to inflate the cost of gift cards & stamps even though the credit rate was capped in December 7 except for a nominal increase in the price of stamps earlier this year the cost of those items hasn't increased.

Part 3:

Then to add insult to injury they adopt these new updates to the program. I had my first deadbeat buyer within the first day! If they must offer such a ludicrous option of more or less extending credit I think that it should be an earned perk / privilege and only for seasoned members! (definitely not for new members or those that have never purchased / sold anything). I was held in limbo for 3 days with my item no longer available to anyone else. Now, I will be further inconvenienced to re-list it! At least the message that I received at the end of the 3 day period stated that I will get my original listings fees refunded, which is only fair but I really expected otherwise! I think that there should actually be some compensation for the hassle since as the seller I did nothing wrong and now I don't even get to keep those credits!

Sorry for going on so but I really miss the sense of community that used to make the site so unique. I have made some really good friends through here but see more & more leaving!

Sorry for hijacking your comment section. I really appreciate you offering it up as a sounding board. There are a lot of frustrated members and now even a FB group with the specific goal of boycotting the site! So very sad!

I agree ladies. I had 3 auctions end last weekend & a 3 day waiting period to see if they "pay" Listia for credits they don't have. Our bidders are no longer guaranteed! IF we have to relist, I want to know if I have to pay AGAIN for a premium auction or the credit fee just to list it. I am with y'all. I came like 6 yrs ago & what I sold for 2500, which to me was a GREAT bid to end would now be in millions. I came to just find treasures like yard sales & such & haven't listed alot for the time I have been here, but geez louise things have really gotten crazy. I have 3 ending over next weekend & I don't think I will list again until I have this figured out. Good luck y'all!!
