Sale has been something of a juggernaut. Drafted in June 2010, he debuted as a reliever for the Chicago White Sox just 2 months later and pitched to a 2.58 ERA with 12 saves over 2 seasons in the bullpen. Converted to a starting job in 2012, Sale responded by winning 17 games and finishing 6th in the Cy Young vote. He has since finished no lower than 5th in the vote, striking out 200+ batters per season,including a league leading 274 in 2015. He was acquired by the Boston Red Sox for the 2017 season, which will certainly be followed by a spike in Sale's card values.
