Questions & Comments
I noticed an older auction of yours with this same MAC pigment and I believe you were also offering a sample, however; this auction states that this is "New--unused" so would you mind filling me in on that?
How do you ensure that transferring the sample to a baggy is sterile and done in a sanitary manner?
Is there any way you could take a photo of the amount you are auctioning in a sterile plastic container (brand new, unused contact lens containers work really well for this and are no more than $1.00) next to a quarter or dime or the actual pigment container you have from Mac for size reference?
Since this is a brand new, unused jar of Mac pigment would you offer additional 1/4 teaspoons for higher credits?
If this is sent in a plastic baggie how can we be assured that it will make it's journey okay to us without breaking open and also in a baggie how will we know that we really did get 1/4 tsp since that's already such a small amount?
If you offer Mac pigment samples often you may want to considering purchasing sets of cheap plastic contact lens containers (probably only a dollar for two honestly if that!) and photograph the amount in the container since that would give the best idea on how much we're getting. I don't know too many people that wouldn't know how to properly assess the amount if you stated it was in a contact lens container.
Thanks for your time in advance. I'd really like to try this before I buy it or decide on something similar so if we can square away some of these questions properly I hope to bid.
the samples are measured straight out of the container.. with a measuring spoon that is cleaned after each color... and is only used for the pigments.. each 2.5g jar gives me alot of samples.. so of course i have alot...? i really only use listia to get rid of my excess stock.... i have clear jars here to put samples in, but i was spending over $2 to ship them, and i cant afford to drop $2 for 500 credits... i have sold 20+ of these samples in baggies and havent had a problem.. i have been selling makeup for 6+ years... with all due respect, i know how to measure and if you dont believe that its a 1/4 tsp sample, or if you dont feel comfortable, just dont bid.. i havent had issues selling the samples this way and i dont intend to change it unless the buyer wants to pay shipping.
Wow, Lol, I swear people think we're idiots!!! Didn't we all take math class and learn how to measure? Oh, and science and learn how to stay sterile? My goodness! I blocked that one fast!!!!
