Yes, they are form my garden. I only have this type of poppy so there shouldn't be any cross-pollination. From the info at Davesgarden, they should come true to seed.

Can the seeds be used for pain relief? Like made into a tea?

From a quick google search, there are no pain relievers in oriental poppies (papaver oriental). That would be the opium poppy :-) Thanks for your interest.
