In warm climates I recommend growing them in morning sun spots only.
They prefer moist, but well-drained soil that is a little bit acidic. Fertilize generously during the blooming season.
Deadheading spent blooms will prolong flowering. Clean up dead foilage in late fall.
The Pacific Northwest region of the USA is great place to grow Columbines. Happy Bidding!! (seeds are stored in fridge so they are ready for planting in colder areas. Warmer areas I would leave in the fridge another week to be safe after receiving seeds)
