I tried potted garden. I had my granddaughter with me to show her how. She spilled the carrot seeds in the pot. Well, they all grew! When we harvested them she asked'where did all the dirt go ?'. They were all long and straight and bunched together.

I took clay pots and put herbs in them. Forgot to mark and got a couple mixed up the first year. Lol they work well. If you have a cold frame, even better. Or bring in house. We had them in basement with a grown light on a timer. Didn't do as well as outside though.

the weather down here fla has been nice .lots of wildfires this year .will be coming up rainy season .in winter very dry then tropical rains .hot in summer
