BLUE CHINESE WISTERIA sinensis: Dense clusters of pale blue to deep lilac-blue flowers drape from its branches and fill the air with an intoxicating perfume from spring into summer. Grow against strong pergolas, walls, over archways or even in large containers on your patio. It’s a very vigorous climber once well established but can be condensed into a small garden by careful pruning and training. Germination is slow unless bottom heat is provided. Wisteria will flower within approx 1-2 years after planting. It can be trained to grow as a tree as seen in some of the photos.
