I really don't know the brand. It has a V on top of a G II. Maybe someone knows the brand. It been in my jewelry box for many years so it needs a battery. Stainless steel back. When closed it measures 8 in. It has an additional clasp on it that can be removed instantly to make smaller if need be. I hope this helps
