this auction is for seven old military uniform buttons four of them are bigger and there are three smaller ones the darker picture shows the backs of them and they are kind of grouped as far as what the backs say the top left and two bottom one's say:art metal works inc newark, NJ / the top right says': waterbury button co. conn and the three little one's say: devans & co. inc. north attleboro Mass. enjoy and thanks for looking

no they are from my husbands great uncle who was in the military in the u.s.

I didn't mean any disrespect. Are they from WW1 era or WW2?
I have done re-enacting so i know about copies being made. the more you know about these the better for getting more money for them.

I'm really not sure. The buttons only have the location of where they were made on the back. I believe they are post WW2 because my husbands great uncle was not quite old enough to fight in WW2. No disrespect taken :) I just dont have any more info to go on as the rest of that generation of the family is now deceaced.
