The listing, An Odd Assortment of Watches and Parts has ended.

In this assortment you will find :
1. The 3 watches iat the bottom are all Quartz and need a battery and watchband.
2. The 4 in the 2nd row are 2 wind up watches and 2 cases ,not running but good for parts
3. The 2 at the top are complete Timex Watches, but over wound.
4. The 2 pocket watches are missing parts and could be used for steamplunk .
5. The rest are watch bands, including the gold colored one.

Questions & Comments

Can you tell me what 'overwound' means (#3)? Will they keep time anymore, ie if you put in a new battery?

These are mechanical watches, no batteries, so when you wind one up it starts ticking, but these 2 watches were over wound so now they are locked up, A jeweler could release the mainspring and get them working again. I hope this answers your question, thanks for asking
