This was left behind when my daughter moved out. I honestly think it is but I have no real idea. no way to know for sure.

if it sticks to a magnet it's not gold. if it doesn't stick it is gold. you can try it on a fridge magnet if you have one. that will tell you. :)

Well, I never heard of this one! But I did go get a magnet and try it. It does stick to the magnet. so I guess it is not real gold. But it is real pretty and shiney. whoever wins it will love it!
Now does this magnet trick also work with fake and real silver? I want to thank you teaching me something new. Now I am gonna go check all my jewelery out.

when I auctioned a silver bracelet on here and did'nt know if it was real or not. A jeweler here on listia told me to do that trick and it didn't stick to the magnet. He said that's the way to test real gold or silver. hope this helps. :) ur a fan too!

look on the fastner to see if it says 10k or 14k fanned back

ok, I have my glasses out and a magnifier glass out and I still don't see anything and if there is something it is inside the tiny heart fastener. I have tried my best here. fanned ya back also.
