The listing, Japanese Pokemon card lot!!! has ended.
Up for auction are about 100 Japanese Pokemon cards. As far as I can tell, they're from the 1st and 2nd generation.
I've had these cards for about 10 years and as I was going through them before putting them on Listia, I realized that some of the cards are copies or fakes. I've spent time in Asia and I think I'm a pretty good judge of what is and isn't fake. One example is that of the holographic Pollywhirl card (see pic). There are several telling signs: the entire card is holographic, not just the picture of the Pokemon; the number is the same as the non-holo Pollywhirl, it feels laminated, and the symbol in the bottom right hand corner isn't a star.
I'm not going to even pretend like I know how many of the cards I have are real, but if your interested in Japanese culture perhaps these cards are for you!
