Description

The listing, D-Link DGL-4500 Xtreme N Gigabit Gaming Router 802.11a/b/g/n 2.4/5GHz Dual Band has ended.

You are bidding on:

D-LINK GAMING ROUTER

Features:
Nothing ruins a frag-fest faster than lag. GameFuel allows you to customize your network settings to prioritize game traffic
You can never have too much information. That's why we've included a Network Activity Display to show you what's going on with your router.
Playing by yourself can be fun, but getting online and fragging others is way better.
Router also has the power of dualband (2.4 or 5GHz) wireless signals to get your game on.

Brand Name: D-Link
Model: DGL-4500
Number of Ports: 4

Condition: I bought this on here, the auction link is below. I plugged it in and the wired works great, very very fast with no lag or dropped signal. But when it came to wireless, my laptop and ipad could see the router signal, but I had problems connecting to it correctly. There is a online users manual and quick start guide that you can get from dlink's website for free, takes two minutes. But I just couldnt figure it out. I also didnt user the included wireless n adapter, maybe thats why, I don't know. The last owner said it worked fine, and he has excellent feedback and I take him at his word. So im just assuming I dont know what im doing, and someone else might have better luck with it. This sale is final and as is. If you cant get the wireless part working correctly, you can not then decide to return it. Again, I know its transmitting a signal, which had all the bars too by the way, I just couldnt get my laptop to connect. This is a technical router with alot of high end features, so its probably just too complicated for me. Wish I could keep it, it looks great, good overall condition. Charger and a Belkin Wireless N adapter included.

This retails new on D-Link website for $199, but I think Amazon has it for around $149.

This is auction where I first got it from, and spent 21k credits:

The router, the plug, AND the Belkin N wireless adapter shown in the last few pics. I described my issue in full detail in the ad. It works, I was able to connect using my ethernet WIRE, but I couldnt get the wireless working correctly. My laptop seen the router, it showed up as a wireless signal, i just couldnt connect to it. There is a full users manual on the website with directions, I just couldnt figure it out. So as stated in the auction, this is being sold as is, no returns. But the wired part worked great, extremely fast. But im sure someone else can figure out how to use this, its pretty techinal and has alot of features. This retails for $199 on D-Link's website.

Forgot to mention, the previous owner that i wont his from here on Listia, mentioned above, did tell me he would give me a full refund if i wanted, and i could keep it. He said it worked fine for him, and he just ended up upgrading. He has perfect feedback, and seems like a man of his word to me, seeing how he offered a full refund, so im assuming he's correct and it works, and I just don't know what im doing. I decided that seeing how this is used and not new, it wouldn't be fair to him to ask for a refund, and keep the merchandise. I just figured it was easier to relist it and whatever it ends at it ends at, simple as that.
