Does the crystal actually have those colors in it, or are the colors being picked up from the surroundings? Also...Do you know just what kind of crystal it is? Thanks...

the colors are in it, but it changes as you change view, so I think ... I don't know for certain, but I think it is incorporated into the bottom under the felting.

I have one just like this and it changes colors as it is looked at from different angles-very nice-mine is chipped-I'd like one in perfect condition., very nice listing!
