The Camelia Flowered balsam mix has a lovely assortment of exceptionally colorful flowers! The plants are also quite charming with their upright growth habit and their somewhat tropical-looking leaves. To extend the flowering season, prune back already bloomed plants (snip back the main stem or side branches) and sow the seeds in succession (every two weeks or so until mid-summer). This flower was always highly praised in Edwardian era garden magazines. They often called it the "Lady Slipper." It is a superb flower well worth growing!
