The listing, White Gold ring with clear stones has ended.
OK, i thought it was silver but when i looked at the hallmark on the inside of the ring, after straining my eyes..I believe it says 325, I looked that up and it came up saying the it is 32.5 % gold.
It is sterling silver and yes a nice ring.... As per Wikipedia even if it had been "white gold" it would have been expressed in carats ie. 10K, 12K, 14K, 18K etc. Here's the shortened link: http://tinyurl.com/whitegoldK
ps... to get the 3.076923077 you divide 1000 by 325 which would indicate 3K if it were actually gold.......anyway ... have fun with the bidding......best wishes to everyone
Ok I checked out your link and I found the answer with another. 12k gold is 50% so even if it is real gold It would only be a little over 3k...lol So that would lead me to believe it is most likely silver.... not gold.... In my experience silver is always designated by 3 numbers and gold only 2. Here is the other link I found: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How%20the%20purity%20of%20gold%20is%20expressed
