Description

The listing, Laptop CPU Intel has ended.

I pulled this from a Toshiba satellite that the monitor was failing on because it was cheaper to get my friend a netbook than replace the toshiba parts. It was working fine at the time of removal I clean it and recondtioned it with Arctic silver kit then placed it in anti-static bag :)

can you take some other pictures of the cpu core? the one you have posted ( http://listia.s3.amazonaws.com/photos/3ba0d1ed1ef099f62e4b/thumb.jpg?1329142339 ) makes it looked cracked, which was very common for this model of cpu, so it could have worked fine until you took off the heatsink and now it's unusable (sorry to say.. )

well yah it could be a reflection or it could be a break but the rough edges of the cpu core worry me too.. you don't have to post a new pic, it's your auction and all.. there's just no reason not to...also you never want to put thermal paste (in this case artic silver) on the core until you're ready to add the heatsink and mount.. the paste will dry out and when it IS mounted it won't make a good seal, thus causing possible overheating and death.

there is no thermal paste on it that is why I said I cleaned it I used Arctic brand cleaner and reconditioner as far as the rest well I build rebuild refurb and generally have been around computers since I was a child my father helped develop the floppy disk and I don;t lie so you can trust my feedbk or not but I actually just do not care I offered it for the people who may actually want it so no worries just don;t bid
