Originally published as The Poster Book of Quilts (note the size of the book above.) Thirty beautiful examples of American quilting, showing its diversity, ingenuity, and durability as an art form. One, composed of comic strip characters, was made as a family project during the winter of 1916. Another: a brilliant, rule breaking 1885 pieced and applique quilt called "Crazy City".
