omg i've been looking for this book for years, but with nothing to go on. i remembered the story but nothing else. when i tried to describe it to someone no one knew what i was talking about. my grandma read this to me when i was little. i recognized it by the cover.

It is the perfect book for families. We actually read it as a class way back in first grade and I've had it pretty much memorized word for word.

fanned, bidding and trying hoping to win.. I read this book to my youngest child and cried every time I read it to her. My niece is expecting first child and I would love to give it to her!!! It's the best story. I think I still have my copy but I don't want to part with it until one of my babies has a baby.

My husband quoted the "I'll love you forever" part of the book to me when he proposed... so sweet, good luck to whoever wants this book :) (I don't have enough credits to bid, lol)

This is a beautiful book that I read to my newborn everyday. He is now 7 years old and still enjoys reading this book. Unfortunately, when he was 4 years old, he got the idea of flushing my watch down the toilet from this book. - LOL!
