I'm looking at the package and i dont see a gauge. This is what the package says. Front: connect speakers to your stereo or AV receiver. Speaker wire 7ft/ 22.9 M BACK: 75ft speaker wire Instructions: It is important that stereo speakers are properly "polarized" This means that the positive (red) and negative (black) connections on the amplifier are connected to the corresponding terminal on the speaker. 1. Locate the copper colored wire - this is the positive side. 2. Strip the insulation on each end approximately 1/4 inch. 3. Connect the wire to the positive (red) terminal and the other wire to the negative (black) on the left speaker. Now connect the corresponding positive wire sides to the left speaker output terminals on the back of your receiver. 4. Repeat steps 2-3 for the right speaker. Hope that helps
