this is a 1942 softcover book that is in pretty good shape for its age. it explains what carnation milk is, has all kinds of variations for recipes. it also has menus and a section on feeding babies, invalids, international recipes and cooking hints. 94 pgs.

me too, we had so many kids in fam, and mom was ill, i had to mix 1/2 gal reg milk with 1/2 gal of that stuff. yuk.....gotta do whatcha gotta do.

fanned and watching. lol, I never have liked evaporated milk, either. My mom has always liked it. I will say this. It's different when you use it in a recipe. It doesn't taste like evaporated milk. The evap milk just adds to the flavor. =D -EJ
