The listing, HAND MADE FOLK ART ANGEL ASSEMBLED WITH VINTAGE PARTS has ended.

Here's an adorable folky angel, that is done in various shades of pink, antiqued down for that warm cottage look.The lighting is not properly showing her warm rich colors, there is nothing bright on this angel. She is assembled on an old piece of wood fencing, she is made from old knobs, old paper bobbin(thread still on it), old metal, and plastic buttons, her body is some very old tongue in groove, with the words "hope",and "love",burned into the wood. The wings are some mismatched fabric swatches glued onto card stock. This angel is delicate, so she will need to be handled as such!...Thanks guys...xoxo p.s., I will be adding several more pics late in the morning/afternoon, with better lighting..

wondered why you had the AFAM sign as your avatar. now I know. You are an artist. when you said check out my angel, I right away thought 'oh no' expecting something angel cutesy ....but I LOVE IT! recognized the fabric right away . She is lovely in her own odd endearing way and that broad smile makes you smile. gonna watch this one.

Creepy and endearing at the same time-- a difficult balance! I really like it! As a side note, a friend of mine was a docent at the American Folk Art Museum in NYC, and with him I got to get into the Guggenheim and MoMA for free! :)

Well thank you Marjory! This is an exceptional piece because she looks very primitive in person. She gives me that warm feeling like when I see old vintage wallpaper, or vintage fabrics. She is very feminine, yet edgy like Dawn said.

I am always astonished at the thought process or creative process you put into your Pieces! ONE DAY! I will have enough points to Win one?!! But, I enjoy the Whimsical-look & the scrap vintage spin on each one. Must be hard to part with them!? Hi there Elijah! Well ,when I get attached to my pieces, then yes it is hard to let go. Like recently, I fell in love with the "clay red bird". I am not a professional photog, so I can't capture the true color and beauty in these pieces. The bids go high because these ladies already have some of my work, and have seen first hand that it has a lot more depth and detail than what you see in the pictures. I too hope you win a piece, you have been watching for awhile now, and there will be a time when I put up a piece and you will "just know", that it is the one for you!
