A NEW pair of tap dancing taps for your pleasure & skill to tap dance in! You have to attach them to your tap (or other) shoes; then you can go to town making your shoe music! There are 2 of them, a "lefty" & a "righty," they are metal, you can tell they've never been used. I have the old, dirty top of the box they came in as well as the plastic bag that kept them shiny like new, that you can have if you want them too. From the box U can see these are quite a vintage age! Embossed brand "CAPIZIO Master Tap;" -backs have "2" guess this is a size...?
Measure: about 2-1/4 inches fr front to back end, about 3 inches across widest. Each has 8 holes to attach to the shoe w/ whatever...(brads, shoe nails...?) Anyway I always wanted to use taps; my suitemate in college was always tapping around, practising for her classes...remember, Jeanine? & I thought it was so cool...Great exercise too!

The best tap shoes I ever had, I attached taps to some new bowling shoes. They looked awesome. It doesn't work so well for softshoe taps, like these ones. These ones are meant to be attached to high heels. Flat shoe taps are more triangular.

That's interesting; I held them up to regular shoes, & it seemed like they would be pretty cool on them...I can see that bowling shoes would work great--they are kinda stiff and would make it easier for u to tap...? Thanks for stopping by & GL if you decide to bid!

For hoofing style, heavier hits, stiff shoes work great. If you want to do toe stands and stuff, you need a shoe with a soft midsole. Regular show taps are a little more triangular shaped, and taps for womens heel are more boomerang shaped.
