If you are honestly shipping this in a standard 'letter' envelope, please be aware that even if you write 'Hand Scan Only' on the outside of the envelope. this will very likely be run thru the scanner/press and could very easily damage this type of chain. It can also easily cause a tear in the envelope and the chain could be lost in transit. This has happened not only to me in the past 2 weeks (twice) but to two others that I am in contact with. Nothing has arrived except a very 'chewed up' empty envelope.
Please reconsider your shipping methods, to make delivery safer and to keep from having to deal with a dispute... You could wrap this in a piece of bubble wrap, or styrofoam padding, and place it in a bubble envelope (4 X 6 are 2/pk for $1.00 at the dollar store, and bubble wrap and tape are also available there~would give you enough supplies for several mailings...) and this type of pkg would only cost approx $1.50-$2.00 to ship.
Just a friendly heads-up, and trying to save the hassle of a dispute because of damage done/loss by the Post Office, since Listia rules state: "The seller is fully responsible for securely packaging and shipping the item to ensure against damage or loss from normal shipping practices." and Listia rules also state that credits will be given to the winner in the event that an item is lost and the seller does not have a tracking/delivery confirmation number... Hope all of this helps... I was once new here, but learned most of what I now know from my own experiences...both good and not so good...
