The listing, BEAUTIFUL LARGE ***PRAYER PLANT*** ROOTED has ended.
This beauty came off a piece of my big prayer plant by accident and it took FOREVER to root and start producing new life! !!!
It is very happy and healthy and will stay right in the water to grow a little more before it arrives too you. I will package it VERY carefully! !
I'm going to add a little info on these plants below but if you have any questions feel free to ask :)
Small children are sometimes taught to fold their hands in prayer -- a pose the prayer plant (Maranta leuconeura) appears to imitate. When dusk falls, the prayer plant responds by folding its leaves. Although that is a neat occurrence, it isn't the only reason home gardeners prize the plant. Its broad, oval leaves feature variegation that ranges from pink stripes to darker green splotches. The prayer plant is native to Brazil and is hardy outdoors in only U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 11 through 12. That is why it usually is cultivated indoors. Caring for an indoor prayer plant isn't difficult.
