This is an old National Multiple Sclerosis Society Pin. This is back when they used the red logo and had their pin as a prism. They have now changed their colors to orange and green. This pin is still attached to the card. The card reads:

"MS Ribbon of hope
Because Multiple Sclerosis impacts people's lives in vastly different ways, and its debilitating symptoms are often unseen, the National MS Society has created this ribbon of hope. As this prism ribbon seems to change color when it reflects lights, so it symbolizes the unpredictable, life altering effects MS has on people's lives."

I too have MS and choose to fight it everyday. I was given this by a lady after I was diagnosed. This is the old image and logo and the pin is still attached to the card but you can take it off and wear it. The back of the pin has the pin sticking out with the push pin back on it.
