FREE: True Blood Inspired Garter Set

Last May we were asked to create a garter set for a True Blood inspired wedding. The young lady brought us the lace she wanted the set made from and we made it. Unfortunately, the wedding was cancelled and she never came to pick up her completed garters, despite several calls to her. As a result, we have this set that we're offering here on Listia.

The keepsake garter is made from a delicate black Chantilly type lace with flocked roses that have been lightly sprinkled with gold glitter. There is a red satin band and the garter is decorated with red and black ostrich feathers and a "Black Magic" red silk rose that has been enhanced with a center bloom of black and a rhinestone and pearl center.

The toss garter, which is a bit wider than the usual toss garter (3 1/2 inches) to accomodate her height (she was 6 ft tall) is made from the same lace and decorated almost exactly the same way except the "Black Magic" rose does NOT have a black center but does have the same rhinestone and pearl center.

Both garters have hand scalloped edges. They will fit a leg measurement up to 18 inches comfortably but will stretch to fit 20 inches.
