Description

The listing, CREATURE CARD #15 ATC! ORIGINAL ARTWORK BY RHONDA CHASE ( ACEO ) has ended.

This auction is for Creature card #15 in the ATC edition of Creature Cards. This drawing was created the day it was posted. This card is the standard regulation size of 2.5" x 3.5". It is done in graphite on Smooth Bristol Paper 100lb.
My goal is to spread art around the globe and what better place then here, at what better price then free! I will attempt to make and post a new card every day for the whole year!
I encourage the winning bidder to give the creature a name if they like :) (and any other information about the character such as gender, scale and any other defining attributes they choose) Thanks for looking! I appreciate your comments and your time. I always fan back :)

Here is information on Artist Trading Cards from Strathmore:
Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade, and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. It is a great way to meet other artist and share your fork. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5"
How did the movement start?
In 1997, M. Vanci Stirnemann, a Swiss Artist, created 1200 cards by hand as part of an exhibit. On the last day he invited others to create their own cards and trade with him during the closing reception. After that , the movement took off as other artists organized major "swap" events! Today, there are ATC swaps in almost ever major city around the world. There are also many online swaps.
How do I create ATC's?
Most swaps are open to any media, materials or techniques as long as the card fits into a standard trading card sleeve. Art can be original, limited edition or series. Artists should include the following information on the back of the card: name, contact information, title of piece, and number if it is part of an edition or series. ATCs are traded not sold. However, there are some artists who choose to sell cards. Cards that are sold are called Art Card Editions or Originals

Ah lol. I had to go check out my blog to see what happened that day. First it wasn't a bad hair day lol. It was a bit of a roller coaster. I was very anxious for my show the next day and I injured my knee in a really stupid move, so it could be any one of those things. When I see it I think the anxiety probably was showing through.

I think I'd spell it Owie... but it's subjective lol. It's a "I made a stupid owie" too, so there is some internal frustration to go along with the pain.
