FREE: Orange and Green Note Card Set of Two with Painted Flowers

These cards are for the July 2011 cardmakers on artfire challenge.

This is a set of two cards.

The cards are 4" by 5 1/2". They are blank inside and come with envelopes.

The top of each card is covered in a green paper. I hand painted orange petaled flowers and glued those on the card and also attatched a butterfly sticker.

Across the center of each card is a burnt orange band of adhesive card stock paper.

The bottom half of each card is covered in a multi-colored striped paper.

This is a one of a kind set.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I am in the cardmakers on artfire Guild. Each month our guild leader http://www.artfire.com/users/Laurascrafts
gives us a challenge for the month.

For the month of July 2011 our challenge was GET YOUR PAINT ON!


I am not an artist when it comes to drawing and painting. My children laugh at me because I draw stick people and my drawing look like a child drew them. My 14 year old daughter draws BEAUTIFULLY!! She got that from her Dad's side of the family.

SO, this challenge was a stretcher for me. Coming out of my "comfort zone"! LOL

Got the paints out....which the children LOVE....And created some cards out of the child part of me. (A child at heart!)
