The listing, FOLK ART DRAGON FLY..MIXED MEDIA..LOOKS VERY VINTAGE! has ended.

This is an assemblage of a "kept" dragon fly..The background is on a 7"x7" canvas,with a deep red,wood frame attached to the canvas itself. In the center you will find the same deep red on a dragon fly, he is wrapped with some twine,he has some old book pages on his wings and a vintage marble for his head.He is mounted on a piece of primitive tongue and groove. This piece is dark and yet it is so beautiful! To me, It signifies "loss"and finding it in our hearts to open the door,and let go. The colors in this piece are, a deep, almost cranberry red, an antique cream, and dark tobacco.The finish on this piece is amazing, you will not be disappointed!.Thanks so much guys! xoxox...Misty
