Is this the original version from the 1930's or the remake?

Greetings, this is the 2003 remake. which was directed by Peter Jackson who also received an academy award for " The Lord of the Rings". This version of King Kong has a variety of mystery, romanace, action, thrills and amazing artistry. Thank you for looking :)

I am very sorry and I do not mean to be rude however the last remake was released in 2005 & I do not believe there was one released in 2003? If this is the 2005 remake then it stars JACK BLACK, NAOMI WATTS, ADRIEN BRODY, ANDY SERKIS & COLIN HANKS can you please verify? I own the 2005 version but the front of the DVD case/box is totally different then this picture so that is why I am very confused? If this is not the 2005 remake and from some other year I am not familiar with then I wish to BID on it myself as well & that is why I need clarification if you do not mind please? You are so,o,o, right and I am very sorry... I broke out my magnify glass and yes it is the most recent release, with Naomi Watts, Jack Black and Adrien Brody. I don't know why the front cover would be different than yours, but is the same movie, thank for helping me clarify and dust off my trusty spy glass. Thank you for looking and best wishes always :)
