The listing, Genuine Silver/Genuine Natural Ruby "Huge" "Beautiful" Free Shipping has ended.

Pretty silver ring with a huge natural ruby gemstone! The ring was made by a local artist. I purchased it at one of our craft fairs. I don't find a jewelry stamp inside other than what appears to be a jewelers mark-possibly his name. I will do my best to find my magnifier and see if I can make it out using it. Once I can fig. out the stamp I will do an update as soon as I can The stone is one gorgeous stone. Beautiful color. I must say the molding of the metal part of the ring is a bit rough but still very nice. And the stone could have a good polishing.
It's aprox. a size 6 maybe a 6 1/2 but JC Penney's resizes aything, gold, silver even one that are just plated...and it would resize easily.

When you say the molding of the metal is a bit rough, what do you mean? Is it damaged or is it made primitive or are the prongs loose?

No not damaged-I'm just picky and I think he could have done a better job smoothing some of the areas-kind of looks a bit rough to me. No the prongs are very strong-I wanted to remove the Ruby and weigh it but quickly gave up that idea LOL

oh and could you find a magnifier to read the inside if it is stamped or artist name, etc? Thank you in advance

The only thing I see stamped inside is the artist mark...ss But, he made his jewelry from silver and it doesn't absolutely prove anything but it does not react to magnet.
