I think what one of the earlier posters was actually calling a "padded" envelope for $5.10 is Priority Flat rate mailing envelope. If you can just bubble wrap breakable items and stuff everything in there Its much cheaper than trying to send stuff in boxes and you can put up to 70 lbs into a Priority Flat rate Envelope.

Hope that helps on shipping costs :-)

the weight limit for first class is 13 oz. after that, depending on the weight, it is actually sometimes cheaper to send priority instead of parcel post. you should be able to mail a box up to about 2 pounds for $5, up to 3pounds for $7, including delivery confirmation if you use paypal, which is far cheaper than going to the post office. I try to either give free shipping or as low shipping as possible on my auctions as well because I get more credits that way. Lol I can offer something that is worth $30 and no one will bid on it if I have $3.95 shipping....lol it is funny sometimes. Anyway, just wanted to let you know about the shipping price. Also some people take into account the cost of the packaging supplies as well - I have done that a couple of times myself. Hope this all helped :) love the auction.

The post office is 3 blocks from my house so i just go there. I can even walk if i need to. I know even though the postage rates just went up a little, it definately shows in the shipping . My goodness I guess i am addicted is the reason i offer these heavy packages with free shipping, but i know people will enjoy the listing and bid on it! I list big..in hopes of bigger and better credits or ginners. lol. I know its not guarenteed but its still fun! Whomever wins this one will be as thrilled as the person who won it last time! BUT i have to slow down and slack off of these heavy packages.Lol.Its hitting my pocketbook big time. Thanks for the postage info.=)
