This Light Switchplate Cover was an attempt to custom craft something that specifically matched their décor,
however the crafter decided this was not her cup of tea
and decided to purchase her decorative switchplates.
We didn't want the switchplate to end up being tossed out since it already had it's decorative paper base which we
liked the design & colors.
So we honed in on areas that needed a bit of TLC, cut away excess paper, trimmed the slots for the light switch, added some color-coordinating embellishments, gave the back a quick spray of silver paint, painted the screws & sealed it with Mod Podge Spray Sealer
Now it's a fun decorative accent piece, better than the dull plain ones that add nothing to your décor~like this one-->
