Description
The listing, CREATURE CARD #17 ATC! ORIGINAL ARTWORK BY RHONDA CHASE ( ACEO ) has ended.
This auction is for Creature card #17 in the ATC edition of Creature Cards. This drawing was created the day it was posted. This card is the standard regulation size of 2.5" x 3.5". It is done in graphite on Smooth Bristol Paper 100lb. My goal is to spread art around the globe and what better place then here, at what better price then free! I will attempt to make and post a new card every day for the whole year! I encourage the winning bidder to give the creature a name if they like :) (and any other information about the character such as gender, scale and any other defining attributes they choose) Thanks for looking! I appreciate your comments and your time. I always fan back :)
lol. your comments make me wonder what was happening that day and then I have to go check my blog lol. I don't have very good memory so the blog is helpful. I appreciate your fun.
Ahh! You read manga too? Does not really surprise me though, because a lot of people that I know that are artistic draw inspiration from other art forms as well (manga included)! And I have a feeling that I am going to go broke bidding on your pictures lol!
The more visual images to input the better. :). Do you have a preferred manga? Sometimes you can pick up the pictures for a steal if you keep your eyes out, but if your really wanting to decorate a room with them you might consider giving away some items so you can catch your favorites. My goal is one a day for a year, so hopefully you have time to find some that really inspire you. Good luck! It is a pleasure to meet you!
I have a lot of Dragon Ball Z vhs tapes lol. Just looked at them yesterday. My mom is a huge Inuyasha fan. My favorite, I think, would be Full Metal Alchemist :)
i'm heading to a card store tomorrow to try to get some basic sleeves to mail it in. I send them inside cardboard to protect them so they don't get bent. I'm very glad you like it! What sort of art do you do?
Also Here is information on Artist Trading Cards from Strathmore: Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade, and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. It is a great way to meet other artist and share your fork. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5" How did the movement start? In 1997, M. Vanci Stirnemann, a Swiss Artist, created 1200 cards by hand as part of an exhibit. On the last day he invited others to create their own cards and trade with him during the closing reception. After that , the movement took off as other artists organized major "swap" events! Today, there are ATC swaps in almost ever major city around the world. There are also many online swaps. How do I create ATC's? Most swaps are open to any media, materials or techniques as long as the card fits into a standard trading card sleeve. Art can be original, limited edition or series. Artists should include the following information on the back of the card: name, contact information, title of piece, and number if it is part of an edition or series. ATCs are traded not sold. However, there are some artists who choose to sell cards. Cards that are sold are called Art Card Editions or Originals.
