Brand new Dooney & Bourke small Handbag (chocolate brown color). Stamped 1975. Still in its packaging. Comes in a nice lined brown box (looks like leather), also stamped 1975. Also still has tags from Dooney & Bourke along with the company's address and information. Would make a nice addition to your collection of bags.

Hi, just tried sending a picture of the inside. I'm not sure if the picture is too big, but I was having a little trouble. When the picture finally went through, it looks kinda flat until you mouse over. Sorry. Hope this helps the color is green paisley like the outer box.

A salesperson at the outlet store said this looks like an item they were selling as a commemorative a few years back. It might be the reproduction of the 1975 issue. The reason she felt certain is when she did a close up of the dooney and bourke on the wristlet.She said they did that about 4-5 yrs ago on a lot of the bags. They only had a few per store and most of the employees got them. I showed her because they get so many things in their store straight from D&B. So, maybe this is the commemorative they did.

I have learned more about Dooney, since I've posted because thanks to you guys I have researched on several just to see what I actually had. Sometimes we don't realize what we're storing in the closet. Funny thing is that I really like some of the ones I've seen. Now, it's a strong possibility that my next bag will be a Dooney. LOL! Thanks for the feedback, and I hope that the winner appreciates it more than I had.

Oh, almost forgot, she said the dust cover and bar code on the tags were an indication as well that it is quite possibly the commemorative since they didn't do them in 1975

Great detective work! Ha! Because you're telling me more than the rep at Dooney. She didn't have that kind of information (as MNPID predicted). Norma, I'm usually not a label person when it comes to purses. I have one beautiful Coach my son bought me from the Coach store here in Albuquerque, and two Louis Vuitton bags he bought in NY. This bag was a gift from a now ex-boyfriend around in 2007. He got it from his sister. After we broke up I forgot about it. I have never used it. It is really nice though, and the box it's in looks like leather (don't know if it is). It's really nice.
