tammymarie 401.this one is slick as wet grass. i ginned a pin for over a million credits then waited for it to come..tracking was phony,after pushing got a dif. number which then claimed i got the item and snottily informed so by this twit.when i went to check it turned out to be delivered to someone in a different city.i got my credits back but she's back up with a similar pin with a stone missing and asking 899999 gin.the whole thing was a scam but i caught her at it.we do need to protect ourselves,been saying that for a long time now.

On the other hand though, for those of us who have been Selling on here for yrs, it is just absolutely absurd and unfair!

I don't know how the rest of you feel, but after giving it some serious thought, just as you must earn your 'Sellers Wings' and reach certain Levels and Badges to eventually allow you to Post Items with a GIN Amount, along with other Selling Perks earned, I believe that Listia should have thought this new Payment Plan through a bit better! What I namely mean, is that they should have only implemented it ​with the very Brand New Listians! And then, as I was just stating above, after having so many successful transactions, they could then earn a Special Badge, which allows them to Buy and Sell the same exact way the rest of us, who have spent hours, days, and even years, all doing while working with this Site!
That seemingly was the most practical and fair route, in my opinion, that Listia should have taken when implementing this new Payment System, rather than having all of us also adhere to it!
Then again, I don't know, and maybe I am just talking out of my arse! LOL!

But since everyone else in the comment section here seems to already be on this topic, I would love to hear what the rest of you all think? And would also love to hear your thoughts regarding the idea of the New Listians having to earn a Special Badge in order to Buy and Sell with the Previous Payment Policy, that we Seasoned and Experienced Listians, all seemingly want restored!

And just so I am not overloading your Comments Section here, Tmental, if you do have something you want to add, and or, simply talk about regarding this topic, feel free to Private Message me!

I don't think it's fair to the sellers. We take a lot of time to post auctions, get pictures, do updates,ask questions, post comments ,ect. Than someone comes along and can over bid the amount of credits they have than don't pay and we the sellers are looking forward to those credits to buy things we want or need but at the end of our auction we have to wait another 3 days than still nothing for all the work we put into that auction, and no for me auto re listing an auction doesn't work as it does not count as another auction. I won't bid any more credits than I have and I won't buy credits. When I win an auction I plan on paying for it the same day.

I have had one person not pay so far. I blocked that person. If you would like their name I will give it to you. It's not fair to us seller who are honest and put in a lot of work posting our auctions than getting nothing for them.

i don't know how listia personnel think that this is going to emergize their site.this is a slippery slope that is just waiing to plummet out of control.i don't know which dim bulb thought this is a workable idea but its not.i don't relist,it never goes well.why isn't the bidder penalized if they can't pay for their bid.if this actually happens i'll just stop the site.everything listia has done lately has been to enhance their bottom line at our expense.just look t that sell your extra credits schemem they came up with.the boobs devalued the credit so badly that a dollar store item is now getting astrnomical bids.stupid.

People that don;t pay cannot bid freely again..If they have the credits to pay & don;t they will be suspended or revoked for conducting business that way..I gave a winner extra time to pay as she was honest & said people were not leaving her feedback in a timely manner & she just needed 1 extra day which was fine by me..The new system was confusing to many as we have to keep track of our credits which means I sit with y calculated now when bidding..jeez..

I do not bid against pending credits as too many things can go wrong from here to there with no fault of seller or winner..bad business practice I think

First and foremost, I'd just like to say how much I appreciate all of you Lovely Listians who are letting us know of those slimy people to be cautious of, now that Listia has changed its Payment Plan, for those of us who do Sell on here!

To be completely honest, I have been really itching to get a few Listings posted in these last few weeks, but really have been quite afraid to do so because of how the "Payment" Format is now!

When I saw the changes they had made, to say I was upset, and completely dumbfounded by their new system, was an understatement!

Don't get me wrong, as it definitely does help us out with those Phony Scammers who are Brand New to Listia, with absolutely no Transaction History, who post Auctions for ridiculously high priced, and or High End Jewelry and Electronics, as if we're just totally clueless and will hand them millions upon millions of our credits! LOL!

Loving this lot so much! Not only is the Bamboo Box super cute, but I love all of the jewelry also! So awesome!

Hey ya'll, this is a pretty interesting feed going on here. One thing I've always wondered (now, ya'll know I haven't used this site too much), how is it that you ever make any $? I mean, you can buy credits to make bids and you can buy gift cards (I guess you can still do that). Other than that I don't see anything moving but "stuff". So, if you have 5 million in credits, what are you going to do with those to make $? Bid, get the item and then resale for actual $? Sorry to bug you about this but I've always been foggy on what was actually happening!

The name of the person who never paid for the auction they won from me is RyRy97. I messaged them and they never replied back. Very rude to bid on someone's auction than win and never pay. I now put a message about this in all my auctions.

I started on here almost 7 years ago and you could only start your auctions out at 0 to. 100. I remember being happy when an auction ending at 10,000 credits. I used to get ten dollar gift cards for 5555. Times have changed. I wish more ppl would go back to listing items everyone uses everyday. I use to get a lot of stuff from here. But those sellers aren't on here any more. One of the reasons is cause they started letting seller sell their credits for cash. For a long time you couldn't sell your credits.So Members started asking for more credits for their items to get more money. I try to be fair but do start my auctions out with a amount that will cover the shipping cost.I can't afford to pay some one to take my stuff and when an auction doesn't go over the starting bid I get nothing for the item

Maybe it should be changed
Instead of the seller having to wait 3 days for credits/payments, they should get their credits as soon as the auction ends just like it was before and the buyers who over bid could just go into a negative credit amount until their auctions end or they buy credits. While in a negative amount no bids should be allowed. 1. This would be better on sellers who are putting in a lot of hard work on their auctions , counting on those credits and than taking the chance of getting nothing and having to start all over again. 2. The seller should not be the one punished here. 3. This would put a stop to a lot of the buyers just out there bidding up ones auction knowing they aren't going to pay. 4. There are several who are not paying and it's not hurting them. They don't have the time put into the auctions.

I agree with all the comments. I have written LISTIA until I am blue in the face saying that newbies should not be allowed to buy or sell until at least they have a verified address. There should be a recorded seminar that they have to sign up for explaining things. As for blocking the Riff Raff I am all for it but where do you post the names. I have been burned a few times. Look at how many credits we lose out on if it is an expensive Gin and auction,and the buyer does not even contact you. Maybe the bidder just before the crook is legit and they have to loose out as well. Just so you all know, for Mother's Day I ordered from Pro Flowers and immediately was suppose to receive 338,000 credits. I never received my credits and get the run around that Pro Flowers is like a 3rd. party. They had never heard of LISTIA and LISTIA would not get involved except to give me the link to ProFlowers. They said send this, send that, etc which I did and then they started all over again with the same questions. Obviously I never received my 338,000credits. I have been extremely sick confined to bed, followed by the Mayo Clinic and LISTIA did help me not to completely go insane. I have met some wonderful people. After so many letters why can they not do as we have suggested. At Christmas I was really going nuts trying to tell the newbies how to get a Verified Address. Finally I put it right in my listing DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT EVEN HAVE A LISTIA VERIFIED ADDRESS. Another waste of time. We have all been newbies but at least went through the proper channels and found how what and how to do something. I hope someone answers to say where to put the Riff Raffs names.

Thank you. I had also put another scam on there but they said I had too many characters and had to down size. I'll tell one and all here. I bought my M-I-L flowers for Mother's Day. Immediately I was suppose to get my 338,000 credits. When they never showed I phoned ProFlowers and they had never heard of Listia. So got in touch with Listia and all they did was give me a link to reach the 3rd. party seller. Listia had nothing to do with these promotions. The 3rd. party said fill out this form & then this form. Finally I was back to the 1st form. I never did get my 338,000 credits. Just another of LISTIA'S RIP OFFS. I am still fuming over it. I could have had flowers sent to her from my home town and probably saved 1/2 the price.

Hey everybody, I stopped looking at listia items several months ago for these very reasons. The value of the credits has gone crazy. It's basically worth $.000034. I think that's enough zeros! And what's
with being able to overbid your credits? Is it going to force me to buy credits to honor my bid? I would, once, but others will simply
walk away. For those sellers that sell all the time, it's going to get ugly and you're going to be taken advantage of. I bought a few flower seeds today to spend my last little credits. Too bad a really fun thing had to take this route.

Ok tmental163, I got cha. Yep, it did start out at being fun. I just couldn't figure out what sellers were doing with a gazillion credits! I soon figured out that they were out bidding me! I like to find auctions were they have true destash sales. Those are the fun ones! I hadn't checked in in awhile. But when I did, I looked for some of the sellers that I truly enjoyed and I was real sad by what found. The majority of the ones that I looked for have a very small # of auctions compared to before.

I put in a support ticket asking about that, everyone who agrees should also put in one

This whole page should be down loaded to Listia, so we get a fair shake at selling our items and hot having to release, because some new person doesn't understand how it works. Some times they just don't listen to us when we send support tickets. I've been told to relist an item because of nonpayment and when I did they said I have to either give her the item or return credits. Listia is the one who said I could relist, the item hasn't been taken down tho. I guess they will give her the credits soon.

How about everyone sending a letter to Listia headquarters so we do not get an auto response when auctions are not paid for…Thousands of sellers have not been paid with this new system so how about sending a letters that they have to open so then they know how we feel for having our time wasted..think of what someone's desk would look like if the emails are snail mail instead.. Maybe that will get their attention..lol..yikes

I agree with what you all are saying. There's a lot of scammers n cons out there, my block party is getting big.
Plus the price of things on here is crazy. Ppl are selling things for 500,000 + that only cost less than $5.00.
I only have so much credits n i sell too, but dont get a lot of credits. Im on a fixed income.
I wish Listia would go back tw0 yrs. It was fun then.

i think what we really need to do is beseige customer support and and file a n objection to what they are allowing.there are enough of us to overwhelm them with our objection to this newest scam/scheme.where do you give an advantage to scammers and deadbeats and penalize memebers in good standing.to what point?what listia will lose is its member base. and there gos the site.seems the inmates are running the asylum out there in ca.

Oh dear Heaven ABOVE.....I want this box with the bunny pen and a kitty notepad and I have the credits to pay. PLUS I will pay the 10% GIN fees (the main reason why people won't set GIN's) and I owe you an e-mail :) I've been through it lately. It's just been one thing after another and a mess!
