If you need access to your iPod control folder located within the system folders in your iPod, you will first need to make the folder visible to your computer. This is very easy and can be done in just a few simple steps. This will allow you to browse the iPod's content without opening iTunes.

Click the "Start" button located on the lower left corner of the screen to call up the "Start" menu. Click on "Control Panel."
2

In the "Control Panel" window, click "Appearance and Personalization." Then click on "Show hidden files and folders."
3

Click the bullet next to the "Show hidden files and folders" option and click "Apply," then "OK." With your iPod connected to your computer, look for the drive in "My Computer" and open it. Your iPod control folder is now visible

This should help the problem that you are having. If it doesn't fix it then take it to a Aople Store.
