The Husky Folding Lock-back is a good utility knife for cutting and scoring sheet rock.
For everyday use I like the overall feel of the Husky Folding Lock-back Utility Knife. It holds a utility blade firmly yet has a quick release via the push of a button. You can easily remove the knife blade and change to a new one or simply change the side of the blade making use of both sides.
The blade end with the holding part folds into a handle like a pocket knife. That puts the blade safely away. No chance of getting cut. When the knife is pulled out of the handle it locks securely. Only the push of the latch on the back of the knife will release it to a closing position. I like that security. There's little chance of cutting and pressing the button at the same time causing it to be released. The direction of the work would keep it open. I never had a problem with that feature.

When open, the hands and fingers fit nicely around the handles indentations making it a comfortable ergonomic fit that gives me more strength when cutting.

This Husky brand knife comes in a few different colors including red and black that I am aware of. The back end of the stainless steel knife has a metal loop for hanging or perhaps a ring to hold it to keys or whatever. The knife also has a convenient side clip that can be hung over a belt. I like that. The knife can accommodate a few other type blades in addition to the usual utility blades.
This really is a good feeling and well made knife with a safety feature that I can recommend.
