Description

The listing, 1949 Post WWII 5 Francs from France has ended.

This coin is from from Post WWII France. The pictures show the coin for what it is. Nice addition to anyone collection.

I start all my Auctions at 499 and leave it to the buyers to decide on what they want to pay.

I ship free to the US and Canada because the general out come of the bidding makes it affordable and I want to encourage the hobby where ever I can.

Feel free to look and ask questions.

Hey if this coin sells for like 10000

What dose that get equal in cash?

I am not sure what you mean by what does this equal in Cash? Credits although they can be bought don't translate to real $$ because they can not be sold or transferred back unless you have special connections with Listia and are one of the big dealers. The rate to buy credit last I checked was 275,000 for $10.00. I have seen Silver Eagles go on here for well over 1,000,000 credits which would imply that 500,000 credits = $10.00. I personally don't buy credits because I offer my doubles and use the credits I get back to get new additions to my collections. I also get free credits from Listia for various different events or Goals accomplished. So, I am not sure that you can match Credit to Cash. What you can do is try to determine how badly you want something and what you have available to get it and from there determine how much you want to offer. This is one of the things I like best about Listia. The buyers set the value based on how badly they want something. As the demand (more viewers and bidders) increases you will see more posted. True Capitalism at work. If you are bidding best of luck.

I did a quick scan for other "5 Franc Coins" and there is one that is listed at GIN for over 100,000 credits another 1972 that was already bid over 10,000. So, you can bid the 10,000 credits but I think the market will go higher. Again best of luck to all bidders and Thank you for asking.
