I own a classic ps3, just like this one. It will not fit in a medium size flat rate box for shipping. Not trying to be rude, just making an observation to help those trying to figure out shipping costs.

Is this the original classic, 4 or 2 USB's or does it have back up capability or does it have a flap open next to the disc drive for memory cards/

Actually you have the 3rd generation original fat PS3, the 1st gen had back up compatibility along with the 2nd gen, the 1st and 2nd also had 4 USB slots an an expansion bay for other media devices, you have a 3rd gen fat PS3 with no backup compatibility.

yes you have the YLOD i had it its a pain u can never really get rid of it i still have my old one but i got a new on been thinking about buying a new mother board and selling it because mine plays ps2 ps1 and ps3 games well use to nice pics though man

Apparently you have not looked close enough at the pictures the seller has presented for this auction......the console is clearly sitting on a table....the pictures are from different angles and there are no push buttons on a classic model ps3..... They are touch buttons......so I'm fussing you have never seen the classic models out just do not know what the heck you are talking about...... Noob. Btw fanned and watching @seller :)

I don't know what a YLOD is but I'll ask anyway, do you know if the laser itself works? And is the hard drive you have listed out of this unit? As for shipping, you can go to USPS and get an estimate, let's say if you even have a bathroom scale. Many Post Offices have a do it yourself center and you can weigh it there. You'll get many more bids if you include the shipping info. :)
