They did this to my friend when she tried to bid on something I offered. Scared us, lol. I think if its a friend you referred, they think they mite be padding your auction or something. Now I forward pics of my listings to my friend BEFORE listing with listia, and ask if she wants it or not. It's a pain in the behind. In some ways I can understand their reasoning, but when your being honest, it is very unnerving to say the least. Flashing lites, Fraudulent activity detected, etc etc, LOL I kept waiting for the sheriff to come knocking at my door.
