I have a 8 week old Kingfisher/Red mix and she is so beautiful. For those who think pits are vicious take a look in the mirror and see what you see. We are the threat to them thanks to some of the people that fight them. Not mentioning any names Michael Vick.. I would like to put you in a fight ring and see what happens..

I had a pit mix. he was 5 years old and I rescued him from a shelter. he wqd way to big to keep in the house, so I gave him my old recliner to sleep in. He was my big baby and would sit in my lap for hours. My neighbors hated him cause he was a pit so they tried every way to get rid of him. They claimed he killed two of there cats so he had to be chained.. and eventually I had to get rid of him. I miss him every day.

i have owned pitts my whole life , and like the sticker sez they are family , now i have 3 pits a gsd a mastiff and a chihuahua guess who rules ,yes the chi , becuz my pitss (and other babies) love her and know that she is lil so the let her do whatever and becuz of this my chi can b a bully (lol)my pittys are couch potatoes , loving and very very spoiled but well behaved , so yes if a pit u know is vicious or bad mannered , look to the owner , just like children ,all dogs learn by example , and u the human are the example, banned breeds rock (i own 3 on that list) lets get them off the list .

I would add this to my watchlist, but i already won the sticker with the family on the coush a few days ago for my husband. we have a 10 week old pig nose named Dirty, who just survived Parvo, thanks to my husband nursing him, and forcing him to stay hydrated! he is just like our third child, and we love him so much! i used to be one of the people who judged Pit bulls, and quite frankly, was afraid of them. and then i got with my hubs, and thats the only dog he will own, so i got used to them, and now thats the only dog i own! i agree that people should tke a look in the mirror before judging an innocent dog! its all in how they are raised! good luck all! :)
