The listing, LOOK! This is a genuine Mt. St. Helens Ash Dish made from the 1980 eruption, cool. has ended.
LOOK! This is a genuine Mt. St. Helens ash dish. The true colors of this dish can only be imagined until you own it! Purples, blues, yellows, it's a myriad of color. This can be used to put trinkets on, as an ash tray, or simply to be displayed. Your idea for use is ALWAYS best.
It is truly lovely. It is blue with carnival glass like coloring in center of dish. It could be used for many things. Good luck if you bid. fanned you back. Happy Listia!
We too watched from our roof top. Had enough ash around for months. This dish is one of the prettier things that came out of St. Helens. I will fan you too. ggod luck if you bid. Happy Listia
OH!!! And fanned, watching,& bidding. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOLLLLL I guess what they say is true. " There is a silver lining" Although i am sure it was pretty scarey when it happened, God bless you all.
It was extremely scary all those years ago.....The silver lining for Portland was that the wind blew the worst of the ash North. We are South of Mt. St. Helens. We survived all the ash and gloomy weather and this here dish got made! Good luck if you bid and Happy Listia
Just to help Bev... FOLKS, this is truly a COOL piece of art, natural history and conversation piece. The one I'm selling in my shop is $67.95, so bid high for it, it's WELL worth it! I will scan the info that came with it and send it to Bev who can then send it to the winner so they know it's history and facts. :)
I didn't realize it was worth so much or I might have rethought this. Lol Thank you for all the help and I can't wait to get the info to pass on to others. TSVM. Happy Listia
