It's definitely digital. This camera shoots at 5.0 megapixels, which is more than enough to print up to poster size without any pixelation. Thanks for your interest!

I believe these also do video, if so, will it zoom while videoing? Does the viewing screen turn from the lens so you can take pics from over your head or down low with camera looking up?

This does shoot video. While shooting you can zoom in an out,. Unfortunately, the LCD screen is attached to the back and cannot be swiveled. Thanks for looking!

You can definitely do close-ups as this has an AMAZING macro setting. It also has aperture priority mode and shutter priority mode to help take all those professional still!

don't worry about a newspaper or such with a date...if you have a cell phone or computer, but you've put your listia name next to it, so for MOST of us, it will suffice. You do not have to purchase anything on Listia to get your bank account verified. they will place an amount as a charge but it won't get past the 'pending' in your ban account. You just have to check your account for the amount and verify with listia. It just helps us to know that you're verified and that one alone is a major one. No one else EVER gets your account infor either. Don't worry about the haters on here....if they're that leery, they don't have to bid. I will put up more pictures when I get a chance. Until then, please rest in the fact that I didn't take pictures years ago with a username that I hoped I would one day own on Lista and then scour through all my digital photos to find the old pics to put up on this site.

I can assure you that all features and functions work and that you can choose to use an "always on" flash mode if you so desire. I would encourage you to visit http://www.retrevo.com/search?q=Sony+DSC-H1&rt=sp&modelid=200904 to see more specs and review the manual.

As I said, the pictures will be coming soon (as soon as I can find someone with a newspaper or magazine - since I subscribe to neither.)
