The listing, VTech Smile Pocket has ended.

Takes 4 AA batteries (not included). There is a button on the back that allows you to reverse the controls for either left handed or right handed players. Included is one game (Dora's fixit adventure), and the cord that allows you to connect to the tv so it can be played on the tv screen from the handheld game. The game is in good working condition and all buttons work, the only thing I cannot get to work anymore is the sound which never bothered my daughter and I didn't have to ask her to turn it down constantly, :).

I'm sorry I'm having internet/computer problems at home so I can't always respond quickly. I will check today and update this as soon as I can if it works on the tv, I don't know that answer because my daughter has the vtech that is already hooked up to the tv so we never tried...I will let you know asap!!
